Cheltenham’s finest and veterans of 2000 Trees, I, The Lion make the short trip down to Wiltshire to play their first show for us, and I assume, their first show in Trowbridge.
A “proper” UK underground band, blending straight up rock, with some neat sounds, textures and tones with accessible proper vocals – I, The Lion largely have it all.
Support comes from tour buddies Ten Tombs, who we’re delighted to have, as they’re such tight friends with All Ears Avow.
Opening the show is new local band, The Compact Pussycat, who have started with a BANG, after playing the Sheer 13 Year Anniversary show in Nov 17′ before tearing Live & Unsigned apart with their follow up show. Everything points to this band being really bloody exciting – Art rock excellence. Now I just need to introduce them to Les Savy Fav…
