IT’S CHRISTMAS!!!

Last year’s xmas party was so much fun we’re doing it all over again, but this time with even MORE incredible bands…(NOTE THE EARLIER THAN USUAL START TO FIT IT ALL IN…)

Kicking things off, PHILIPPE NASH makes gut wrenching punk-infused acoustic indie folk with nods to Elliott Smith and Mark Lanegan and a delivery reminiscent of Kurt Cobain circa Nirvana Unplugged. Intense, emotional and utterly captivating, these are hair on the back of your neck songs. Be sure to come down early cos this is gonna be a truly special way to start the night…

Next up, RACEHORSE, who sound a lot like Jawbreaker. By which I mean they REALLY sound like Jawbreaker. It’s gruff, melodic and kinda sad punk rock that, well, sounds a lot like Jawbreaker. Before I started booking my own shows I pestered Kieran over and over and over about getting them to Trowbridge and I’m stoked to be able to make it happen at last. These guys fucking rule…

Then WRECKSHIP…a classic sad-songs-over-monster-riffs, punch-the-air-while-fighting-back-tears post-hardcore/emo/punk band and also some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. I think this will be their third time at the Pump? I sure as heck hope it’s not the last…

And then NOBODY’S DAD!!! Absolute darlings and just completely awesome they make the most gorgeous shoegazey indie rock. Legit one of my favourite bands EVER and I’m delighted to welcome them back HOME!!

And rounding out the night, math/noise/emo/grunge/post-hardcore legends A-TOTA-SO!!! New album, I Told You So is a frickin’ HUGE record that calls to mind the best bits of At The Drive In, Refused, McClusky, Don Caballero etc…It’s gonna be SO sick live…

And if all that wasn’t enough there’ll be mince pies!!! and tinsel!!! and Christmas presents!!! and maybe even some Christmas songs…but only if yr REALLY good…
