Best known as the lead singer of Inspiral Carpet, form the late 80s to mid 90s. The band had the hit singles, How Does It Feel? in 1990 and Dragging Me Down in 1992. Their debut album just missed out on the #1 spot, landing at #2, also in 1990.
Over the years Tom Hingley has relentlessly toured the UK, in various bands and guises. Tom’s shows are equally hilarious as they are entertaining, with unrivalled insights about all your favourite musicians, national and international politics, tabloid sensationalism and more besides.
Basically, he can talk the hind legs off a donkey, but will occasionally stop to sing a song.
