Pump favourites The Travis Waltons return for what is likely to be one of their last UK shows for a while. If you’ve seen anyone a the Pump over the last couple of years you’ll have heard ‘Homewrecker’ over the PA between bands as we all genuinely love this band. Think sad emo-tinged indie rock in the vein of Pedro the Lion, Death Cab For Cutie and Frightened Rabbit. Daniel Flay is an incredible lyricist and song-writer and this solo show is not to be missed.
A revelation early doors at Trowbridge Festival all the way back in July, spiderhoney are Jools from Pump sweethearts Nobody’s Dad’s other band. Born out of a love for witchy alt-rock and driven melodies, spiderhoney brings a fresh perspective to the rock genre. Combining soft, haunting vocals with gritty guitar tones and punchy rhythms, the band takes influences from Courtney Barnett, Blondshell and Fontaines DC. The Bristol-based band saw their first release, ‘take it all away’, in July. They also have a killer song about staying up late.
