Frome-based THREE CORNERS play original jazzy folk-tinged pop songs in a multitude of formats from acoustic duo to eight-piece band.
With four albums under their belts, and a fifth on the way, their songs tell tales of woe, joy, birth and travels… they are looking forward to crossing the border to play at the Pump Acoustic on Friday 12 June.
Led by Caroline Radcliffe (vocals) and Nick Waterhouse (guitar), Three Corners create their own groovy sound defined by some striking self-penned songs and an easy performance on stage. Add superb harmonies and a brass section, courtesy of the Plaxton family: Jenny, John, Chloë & Ruby, and Clive Melton on cajón, and you’ve got some great tunes and dance-worthy rhythms coming at you.
What the people say:
“Their songs positively shimmer with sonic radiance… a cornucopia of sound.”
“A brilliant night… just feel the atmosphere!”
“One of Frome’s very best bands, full of wonderful talented musicians, all of whom make our lives infinitely richer! Really too good to miss.”
“Haunting vocals and mesmeric music that’s superbly and endlessly listenable-to.”
“These guys really do put their heart and soul into their music, as well as every single performance. Playing original material with soulful vocals and powerful melodies, you’ll be humming their tunes into the early hours”
