Song for Trowbridge & Miracle on Seymour Street hero, Gavin Osborn makes his debut Pump show, promoting his latest album “Scrolling Home”. Recorded by Nick Parker over in Somerset.
Live favourites including ‘Don’t Know Enough About That”, “Albert Went Out To See Rock Bands” and “Burger King Burglar”, hence the wonderful poster.Previously, Gavin has written for and performed on BBC Radio 4 and Resonance FM. He has done gigs with poet-songwriter-comedian John Hegley, toured with Tellison and Encyclopedia, toured Australia and ended 2008 at a sold out Hammersmith Apollo alongside Jarvis Cocker, Malcolm Middleton and comedians Stewart Lee, Ricky Gervais and Robin Ince, and guested on Russell Howards Good News TV program too! Influenced by everyone from Loudon Wainwright III to R. Kelly, Gavin had written this press release himself, which was subsequently mangled by Kieran. And, much as with online status updates, is a little uncomfortable talking about himself in the third person.BE LIKE WILL, will be performing one of their first all-original sets as a trio. Singer and guitarist Claire Connor has grown from the cover sets into a thoroughly enjoyable original songwriter in her own right. KINGSLEY WALKER: Light hearted, and at times comedic singer from Chippenham, giving his first full support slot at the Pump, previously impressing at an open mic for Jack Bell.
